About Cotec Safety Tape
Cotec Safety Tape is a safety aid designed to help prevent minor hand, wrist and arm injuries in a wide variety of work situations. Made from a surgical grade gauze with natural rubber particles in it.
Cotec tape is non-adhesive so will not stick to hair, skin or clothing. The tape sticks only to itself and leaves no colour stain or residue when removed.
Cotec Safety Tape is available in 300mm long packs cut into 25mm wide rolls. Each roll is over 27 metres long. There are two colours available: blue and green.

Application
The tape is quickly applied and easily and painlessly removed. The open mesh of the gauze allows the skin to breathe giving light comfortable protection from cuts, scratches and abrasions. For light protection where natural feel and finger dexterity is to be re- tained, one or two layers of tape should be applied. The tape will conform readily to the contours of the fingers and hands creating no awkward corners or bulges.
Further layers will increase protection. Experience will quickly show how many layers are needed to protect against a particular hazard. Cotec Safety Tape can be used in any industrial operation where unprotected skin can be damaged. It can be applied selectively so that only the vulnerable area need be covered, reducing the cost while improving operator comfort. The tape sticks to itself and does not leave any residue or finger print on glass or other high gloss finishes.
