RHL's unique double glazed window unit provides an elegant and durable solution for window mounted extraction fans.

The fully insulated composite UPVC panel and extraction fan are integrated into the window frame, greatly improving on the traditional obtrusive 'line-of-site' method of installing window fans. The panel and fan are fixed within a double glazed frame utilizing the same fixing methods as double glazing.

The external panel is manufactured in a translucent smoked grey finish to match the appearance of the window glass.

Precision laser-cut acrylic external panel From one solid piece of tinted acrylic comes the external panel with precision laser-cut fan grille. The smooth edged cavities improve airflow and reduce noise.

The unit is available with an optional external aerodynamic baffle plate for installations above the 5th floor - this helps alleviate back draughts and removes the need for large unsightly cowls.

Internal fan mounting plate The permanently fixed internal fan mounting plate allows for quick fan installation and removal from indoors - there are no external grilles and mounting plates to remove. Fan installation is quick and easy.

RHL's standard AS2 kitchen fan or the SF12 bathroom unit is installed in the window panel, both with the option of external security fixing.

The fan panel is manufactured to the same specifications requirements as the window, BS 6375 part one and BS 6399 part two, Exposure Category "B".
